Ioforge offers a wide variety of web design services to meet you business and/or personal needs. Our design team values simple, minimalist designs that stress function over form without losing that creative and professional appeal our clients look for. Simple, elegant, and logically separated designs are important and we achieve these things through the application of current web standards and the use of trusted and sound web development technologies.

As your experience of the web may have shown you, many designers do not seem to have any regard for web standards or best practices. Yet, web standards are more than just buzz-words. They encourage coding practices that separate presentation from content. This separation provides guidelines for creating websites that allow content to expand without breaking the design and web pages that can scale under load because of smaller file sizes and logically organized layouts.

With the exception of temporary web sites or sites limited in scope or size, most web sites could not be considered complete without a user's ability to maintain and expand the site's content. As simple as this might sound, many web design firms either forget this very essential part of web design or they very intentionally leave the client in need of their services so that they must rely on the firm for any updates, costing the client money and time. Ioforge takes a different approach, offering as a part of the overall design package an optional web admin console. Depending on the functionality of the web site, our design team can provide a portal through which our clients can log in and maintain the content of the web site. Of course if desired our support services are avaliable as an alternative.

Ioforge design professionals utilize some of the latest web development technologies that have proven to be stable and useful over time. Some of the more common place development technologies we use are tools such as: XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets (for clear separation between presentation and content), Javascript, and development frameworks (for MVC style development that also encourages a logical separation between presentation, processing logic, and data). Other tools available to Ioforge designers that may not be quite as widespread in its application are technologies such as: AJAX (for providing more of an 'application' type feel to the web site) and REST-ful Web Services (to allow the web site to be accessed via a programming interface or providing RSS capabilities). These tools, in addition to many others, are just some of the ways our design team is able to provide rich content and professional looking web sites and applications.
